Fake Reviews

Some of the latest discussion amongst authors is the Fake Review.  As I understand it, the fake review is one that you pay for and it can be done by anyone including your friends and family, who give you a glowing review of your book, but it is not “real”.    After doing research myself, I have found that that are some reviewers who charge, but none of them I’ve seen charge to give you a “great” review.  They charge to do a review, period!  Good, bad, or ugly.  I have also noticed that a lot of the reviewers are so busy they are not taking anything new for three to four months from now.  I do wonder if paying for reviews might be one of those things that continues to happen because there are not enough reviewers, and because most people nowadays can always use a little extra cash for providing a serice.
